Subscribe to YouTube channels and playlists, save videos to your personal lists and keep track of what you haven’t watched yet. Scan a QR code to connect the extension to your folge account.
Download Chrome extension ↓The ZIP contains the current extension from the latest folge release. Install it as an unpacked extension in Developer mode; it is currently not listed in the Chrome Web Store.
Install in Chrome
- Download the ZIP and extract it to a folder you will keep.
- Enter
chrome://extensionsin the address bar and enable Developer mode. - Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing
manifest.json. - Open folge from the extensions menu. In the folge app, go to Profile → Browser, scan the QR code and confirm the connection.
Update the extension
When a new release is available, download the ZIP again and extract it to the same folder, replacing the existing files. Go to chrome://extensions, click Reload on folge, then refresh any open YouTube or streaming tabs. The unpacked extension does not update automatically.
You choose what gets tracked
The extension needs website access to YouTube, Netflix and Prime Video. After connecting, automatic YouTube tracking is on by default: a video is marked as watched once playback reaches 50%. You can turn this off in the popup. Netflix and Prime Video also require you to enable tracking in the app settings and confirm the current episode.
You can revoke your browser connection in the app at any time. Read more in our privacy notice.
